[hard decision?]
Hm, which one should I take? My old but trusty old friend (just bringing me home from a vacation), modell year 84, built in 83, or the new beau?
My father already decided to buy an A6 C4 with 6-cylinder (background).
You can see that the new guy sits lower.

That didn't look too bad, but this plastic middle thingy and those orange turning signals were a bit disturbing. So:

My Audi is an Audi 100 2.3 Type44 Sport 2, built in March 1990. Sport 2 means: rounded and widened fenderwells, lowered stance (some 20mm or 0.8 inches) red rearlights, 215/60/15 on 7.5x15 ET35, speedometer until 280 km/h (around 175 miles per hour) and additional instrumentation (voltage, oil temp and pressure). It is _not_ a quattro, making it an even more rare car. The red middle part of the taillight was added by me as were the white turning signals in front and the "mean look" spoiler on the hood. The colour is "Papyrus-Metallic", impossible to describe, somewhere between gold and olivedrab - I really like it. I think on the pics you can see it changes according to the light.


 
Then, on the 22nd of January, 2001, a Jeep Wrangler crashed into my car, hitting it on the right front fender and causing more damage than the insurance would think the car was worth. Luckily, with a great body shop and some compromises, everything could be repaired.
What happened? Well, you'd have to ask the Jeep driver. It was a bit icy (nothing you could not have realized without crashing) on that well-built country road and he did not manage to simply pass me on the right lane, while I was waiting on the left lane in order turn. How he got sliding and hitting my car, I cannot understand, but let us be happy that I did not suffer physically and he did not injure someone driving in the opposite direction, as he slid onto the other lane!
